Overview

The Gorumara National Park, Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary, Jaldapara National Park, Buxa Tiger Reserve, Jayanti, Jhalong-Bindu, Samsing-Rocky Island, Todey-Tangta, Paren, Suntalekhola, and Chilapata are some of the national parks in the Dooars region. It boasts outstanding natural beauty and is located in the Himalayan foothills. Sal (shorea robusta) is the most prevalent and valuable tree in this forest, which is primarily damp deciduous. Here, you may also find teak, simul, siris, and khair. Large herbivores such as Asian Elephant, Sloth Bear, Chital, Indian Rhinoceros, Bisons, Sambar Deer, Wild Boar, Pangolin, and others can be found in abundance in this park. Beautiful submontane forest birds like the Green Magpie, Indian Treepie, Hill Myna, Scarlet Minivet, Sunbird, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Spangled Drongo and Great Indian Hornbill, Large Grey Headed Fishing Eagle, Adjutant Stork, Peafowl, and Green Pigeon are among the many bird species that call these National Parks home. You can see a variety of migratory species throughout the winter, including brahminy, teals, and others. You might be able to get a closer look at this exotic animal on an elephant or jeep safari. But due of rain, this safari is closed from June through mid-September. Lataguri's name stems from the word "Lata," which means "Wood," because the area is surrounded by lush grassland and a dense forest in the Dooars.

Day 1

NJP / Hasimara To Jaldapara (125.9 Km) Via Nh 17 [2 Hr 58 Min]

The spectacular Doars Package Tour begins with a meet and greet when you arrive at the NJP / NMZ Rly Stn. In the Alipurduar District of Northern West Bengal, near the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas and on the banks of the Torsa River, stands Jaldapara, the entrance to the Jaldapara National Park. Jaldapara spans 216.51 km of expansive grassland with dreamy forest patches. For the protection of its impressive flora and animals, it was designated a sanctuary in 1941. Today, it is the Indian One Horn Rhinoceros' largest home in the state. In transit, pass by the South Khayerbari Tiger Rescue Center.

The Khayerbari Tiger Rescue Center is a facility for the rehabilitation of injured Royal Bengal Tigers and Leopards. Viewers may see several leopards and Royal Bengal tigers here, as well as see how wild creatures are saved and treated. A little lake is where paddle boating is possible to enjoy. Visitors can purchase souvenirs from the local small businesses.

The Dooars Package Tour with Elephant Safari, which is the reason you came here, begins from the resort in the early morning. Four tourists can ride on each elephant, which transports them along a broad trench and uneven trail through the heart of the dense jungle. The highlight of the safari is a moist grassy area where, with any luck, one can see the One Horn Indian Rhino in its full splendor after crossing several gorgeous streams along the way. The Indian Peacock, Deer, Wild Bison, and Boars can all be seen on the Jungle Safari.

After breakfast, head coochbehar Rajbari or Phuntsholing, the Indo-Bhutan border, for sightseeing.

Phuntsholing is a border town in Bhutan that is located next to the Indian town of Jaigaon. The Bhutan Gate, the Amu Chu crocodile breeding area, the Karbandi Monastery, and the Phuntsholing market are the top attractions in Phuntsholing.
Coochbehar Rajbari, also known as the Victor Jubilee Palace, is a prominent structure in the town and district of Coochbehar. It is a physical structure that resembles the renowned Buckingham Palace. Jaldapara Hotel or Resort, or Hollong Tourist Lodge for overnight stay.

Day 3

Jaldapara to Buxa / Jayanti Sightseeing [1 hr 11 min (60.9 Km) Via Nh317]

After breakfast, travel to Jayanti, a riverside forest settlement located in India's West Bengal Dooars district and part of the Buxa Tiger Reserve. Because of how the Jayanti River flows like a priceless necklace, it is frequently referred to as the Queen of the Dooars. Bhutan and the province of West Bengal are naturally separated by the River Jayanti. For bird watching and jungle trails, Jayanti is the ideal spot. Along the way, we stopped at Chilapata, the Mahakal Cave, the Buxa Tiger Reserve Forest, and Buxa Fort.

Mahakal Cave is one of the must-see attractions in the deep Buxa Forest and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Tourists come to the cave mostly for the stunning stalagmite structures.
Buxa Fort - In the Buxa Tiger reserve, at an elevation of 867 metres (2,844 feet), sits Buxa Fort. Alipurduar, the closest town, is 30 kilometres (19 miles) away. During the Indian freedom struggle, the British monarch used Buxa Fort as a detention facility; it was equally notorious as the Andaman Cellular Jail. For the time being, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was detained here. The Buxa Fort served as a refugee camp after independence. It can be one of the most thrilling and unforgettable parts of anyone's Dooars package trip because one can trek there.
Chilapata Jungle is a different reserve forest close to Hasimara Town. Between Jaldapara Jungle and Buxa Tiger Reserve, Chilapata Jungle is thought to be an elephant corridor. To witness the one-horned Rhino inside the Chilapata Forest, one can also go on a Jeep safari through the Chilapata Jungle. The evening is yours to enjoy on your own. Stay the night in Jayanti.

Day 4

Jayanti To Lataguri [3 Hr 4 Min (132.3 Km) Via Nh 17]

After Having breakfast, head toward Lataguri. A little settlement in the Malbazar Subdivision of the Jalpaiguri District is called Lataguri. Lataguri is a well-liked vacation spot for those looking for adventure and serves as the entrance to Gorumara, the Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations are to be communicated in writing.

For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, only Rs. 1000.00 per person will be charged.
Cancellations made between 29 days to 15 days of the tour, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
Cancellations made between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
Cancellations made between 7 days to 3 days of the tour, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
Cancellations made within 2 days of the tour or No show scenarios, 100% cancellation charges will apply.
For any changes in the route due to various unavoidable circumstances (i.e.; Natural Calamities, Rallies, strike etc.) the supplementary travel cost has to be paid by the customer to the driver directly.
