Dooars located on the outer foothills of the Himalayas, along the river Brahmaputra. With pleasant weather all year, this lovely location attracts a large number of visitors. Dooars, with its diverse vegetation and many rare animals, is a favourite destination for many families, especially children. The Dooars is a magnificent region full of green hills, valleys, jungles, rivers, and tea plantations, located at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas mountain range. The name derives from the Bengali word "Duar," which means door or gateway. Furthermore, our Dooars Tour Package includes a comfortable stay in Dooars hotels, sightseeing, and fun-filled activities. The Dooars package we offer is specifically designed to meet the needs of both adults and children. For starters, this vast region serves as a gateway to major Himalayan wildlife habitats. Day-wise Customizable Tour Itinerary
NJP or Bagdogra airport, you will be first greeted by our officials and then transferred to Jaldapara. Nestled beside the iconic Jaldapara National Park, Jaldapara is a small village known for its complete serenity and the numerous wildlife. You will reach the resort at Jaldapara within 3 hours from NJP or Bagdogra whereas. The remaining day can be enjoyed by strolling around the nearby places or at leisure. In the afternoon, you have to collect the tickets for the next day's Jungle Safari. A guest has to get their own tickets as per the rule of the Government (Note: Arrangement of Jungle Safari is subjected to availability of ticket) finally, after dinner, overnight stay at Jaldapara.
After breakfast, go for a full day sightseeing in and around Jayanti. First, trek to the ancient ruins of Buxa. Next visit a tiny village named Rajabhatkhawa inside Buxa Tiger Reserve to see different kind of wild animals from Rajabhatkhawa Watchtower. Trek to Pokhri Hill and a sacred lake situated in the hilltop to see countless magur fishes and decade-old turtles. Your next visit will be at TGN Watchtower. From here you will get to see numerous wild animals like Bison, Rhino, Deer, etc. Solely dedicated to Lord Shiva, visit Mahakal Cave at the riverbank of Jayanti which is one of the sacred religious sites in Dooars. Back to the resort again after this successful excursion. After dinner, overnight stay at Jayanti.
Wake up early and post breakfast, check out from the resort and then proceed to Lataguri, a small village covered with dense forest nestled beside Gorumara National Park. Cover approx.150 km of road distance to reach Lataguri after 4 hours. Check into your pre-booked resort to fresh yourself up. Take some rest and then proceed for a Jungle Safari at Lataguri Forest (Gorumara National park). However, Jungle Safari is subjected to the availability of the ticket (Jungle Safari remains close from 15th June to 15th September each year). Have a fascinating Safari cutting through the dense forest of Lataguri and Gorumara to witness its largest natural habitats of 50 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles and 30 species of amphibians. Get back to the resort again and after dinner, overnight stay at Lataguri.
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing excursion to Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola. The first destination to visit is Samsing, a quaint village situated in the bank of river Murti. After relishing the beauty and the peaceful ambience of its tea gardens, proceed to Suntalekhola, an offbeat destination also known as the base for exploring Neora Valley National park. Next, you will be driven towards Jhalong, another pristine village located near Indo-Bhutan Border. The hydro Electricity project of River Jaldhaka is the major attraction here. Lastly, head towards Bindu to witness and enjoy the view of cardamom plantation, pristine nature, and river Jaldhaka. Back to the resort again and after dinner, overnight stay at Lataguri.
After breakfast transferred to Lava, a mesmerizing hamlet situated at an elevation of 7000 ft and quite adjacent to Kalimpong Town. Reach your pre-booked hotel at lava after having a journey of 100 km within 3 hours. Check into your resort and freshen up after this hectic journey of 3 hours. Rest of the day can be spent at leisure or by strolling around the scenic hamlet. Delicious dinner will be served in the late evening. Finally, night halt at Lava.
Start the day early as you are going to explore Changey Falls and Kolakham today. Hence, after a light breakfast, visit Changey Waterfall first, a shimmering fall just 14 km away from Lava. Being one of the highest altitude lakes in the entire North Bengal, the cascading water of Changey looks stunning. Next, drive towards Kolakham, a new village inside the Neora Valley National Park. Walk leisurely in and around the village. Enjoy the complete serenity of the village and get to know the lifestyle of the local people. After spending some quality time here, you will be driven back towards your resort again. Finally, after dinner, night halt at the hotel of Lava.
After breakfast transfer to Kafergaon, Kafir is just 5 km away from Lolegaon, a famous tourist destination in Kalimpong district. A spectacular view of Kanchenjunga can be seen from the homestay. There are aprox 30 families in the village, they mainly cultivate, It is cultivated in 100 percent organic way. There is a forest next to it, There are also specific view points to see the sunrise and sunset. Check in at resort. Overnight stay at Kafergaon.
After breakfast, check out from resort. Dooars tour comes to an end but a heap of cheerful memories.

- Any cost incurred due to natural calamities, illness or emergency.
- Any other meal not mentioned in inclusions.
- Cost of any optional activity or service.
- Any new tax/es levied by the central or state government
- Anything which is not mentioned in the Inclusions.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations are to be communicated in writing.
- For cancellations done prior to the 30 days or more of the date of departure, only Rs. 1000.00 per person will be charged.
- Cancellations made between 29 days to 15 days of the tour, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
- Cancellations made between 14 days to 8 days of the tour, 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
- Cancellations made between 7 days to 3 days of the tour, 25% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges.
- Cancellations made within 2 days of the tour or No show scenarios, 100% cancellation charges will apply.
- For any changes in the route due to various unavoidable circumstances (i.e.; Natural Calamities, Rallies, strike etc.) the supplementary travel cost has to be paid by the customer to the driver directly.
Package Policy & Terms
- The packages offered can be customized according to guest’s wish.
- Photo ID card (except Pan Card) mandatory while you are on tour.
- To ensure smooth services, Company can also make alternations in the tour. The reasons for such changes can be acts of god, technical problems, sudden service issues, government policies or any other similar situation.
- Package will not be considered booked until advance amount have been received by us.
- In case of cancellation, We will process the refund within 72 hours only after receiving it from the concerned Hotel/Transporter/other service providers
